MAX232CSE+ SOIC-16 SMD RS Serial Protocol IC

MAX232CSE+ is a multi-channel RS-232 Driver/Receiver powered by +5V. Driver/receiver, all EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 communication interfaces are specifically designed for applications where ±12V is not available. The MAX232CSE+ includes dual charge pump DC-DC voltage converters, RS-232 drivers, RS-232 receivers, and receiver and transmitter enable control inputs. The receiver inputs withstand an input overvoltage of up to ±25V and provide input termination resistors with nominal values of 5kR. Receivers apply type 1 interpretation of V.28 and EIA/TIA-232E fault conditions.
