MCP2515-I/SO SOIC-18 SMD CAN Bus Integrated
Microchip Technology's MCP2515-I/SO is a standalone Controller Area Network (CAN) controller. It is capable of transmitting and receiving both standard and extended data and remote frames. The MCP2515-I/SO has two admit masks and six admit filters used to filter unwanted messages, thus reducing the overhead of the host MCU. The MCP2515-I/SO interfaces with microcontrollers (MCUs) via the industry standard Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI).
