28C64 - PLCC32 EEPROM Integrated

AT28C64B is a high performance, electrically erasable and It is a programmable read-only memory (EEPROM). Its 64K memory is organized as 8,192 words in 8 bits. Manufactured with advanced permanent CMOS technology, the device offers access times of 150 ns with only 220 mW power consumption. When the device is deselected, the CMOS standby current is less than 100 µA.

 

The AT28C64B is accessed like Static RAM for a read or write cycle without the need for external components. The device has a 64-byte page register that allows writing up to 64 bytes simultaneously. During a write cycle, addresses and 1 to 64 bytes of data are locked internally, freeing the address and data path for other operations. Following the start of a write cycle, the device automatically writes internal data using a timer. The end of a write cycle can be detected by I/O7's DATA PUSH. When the end of a write cycle is detected, new access for a read or write can begin.
