Memory contents can be rewritten: in a test socket; a PROM-programmer socket; built-in during subassembly testing; in-system during final testing; and in-system aftermarket. The 29F020 saves time and costs while increasing memory flexibility. The 29F020 is a 2048 kilobit non-volatile memory organized into 262,144 eight-bit bytes.
