360° Omnidirectional High Torque 2-Axis Expandable Pan-Tilt Camera Module
The 360° Omnidirectional High Torque 2-Axis Expandable Pan-Tilt Camera Module achieves a wide rotation range on both the horizontal PAN axis (±180°, total 360°) and the vertical TILT axis (-45° to 90°, total 135°) using high-torque 2-DOF bus servo motors, significantly expanding the camera's coverage area.
Based on the Generic Driver for Robots, it integrates seamlessly with Raspberry Pi 4B/5, offering enhanced hardware flexibility. An open-source WEB control demo allows users to effortlessly control the pan-tilt via Google Chrome, enabling adjustments to the pan-tilt's orientation and image capture functions. Beyond basic photo and video capabilities, this pan-tilt camera also features face and motion detection, offering a smarter and more precise tracking experience. Not only are the pan-tilt slave computer demos open source, but the Raspberry Pi camera functionality demos are also open source, allowing users to perform secondary development according to their specific requirements.
Both joints utilize a high-precision bus servo direct drive solution equipped with 360° 12-bit magnetic encoders for angle sensing, facilitating closed-loop control by transmitting joint angles, load, and other information. Despite using compact bus servos, they achieve a maximum joint torque of 30 kg.cm, ensuring the seamless integration of the pan-tilt camera module into various projects.
