5K T3.15A 5x20mm Delay-Action Glass Fuse
A glass fuse operates by breaking the circuit when the rated current passes through it. When the current passing through the fuse exceeds the rated current, the thin wire melts and breaks the circuit. It protects circuit elements against damage caused by overcurrent.
The difference with delay-action fuses is that they do not react immediately and do not immediately break the circuit when the current they can withstand is exceeded. This ensures that circuits are not interrupted, especially when using products that draw high initial current, such as motors.
