6X6X7mm 2 Pin Purple Tact Switch with Long Legs

 

Widely used as standard input "buttons" in electronic projects. These work best when you mount them to the PCB, However, they can also be used on the breadboard for temporary connections in prototypes. They are normally open (disconnected) and are momentarily closed when the button is pressed, completing the circuit.
