ACS712, industrial, automotive, commercial It provides economical and precise solutions for AC or DC current detection in communication systems. It consists of a sensitive, low offset, linear Hall sensor circuit with a copper conduction path located close to the surface of the die. The applied current flowing through this copper conduction path creates a magnetic field that is detected by the integrated Hall IC and converted into a proportional voltage. Device accuracy is optimized thanks to the proximity of the magnetic signal to the Hall transducer.
