AD8361 RF Microwave True Power Detector - AM Detector Amplitude Detection
AD8361, 2, It is an average response power detector suitable for high frequency receiver and transmitter signal chain up to 5 GHz. The device is very simple to use. In most applications, only the 2.7V to 5.5V single power supply, power decoupling capacitor, and input coupling capacitor can operate. The output is a linear response DC voltage with 7.5 V/V RMS conversion gain. An external filter capacitor can be added to increase the average time constant.
The AD8361 is capable of handling simpler, especially crest factor (peak to root mean square ratio) signals such as CDMA and W-CDMA. and used for real power measurement of complex waveforms.
