DS2431P+ TSOC-6 1Kbit Memory IC
DS2431 is a 1024-bit, 1-Wire® EEPROM chip organized as four memory pages of 256 bits each. The data is written to an 8-byte pad, verified, and then copied to the EEPROM memory. As a special feature, the four memory pages can be individually write-protected or put into EPROM emulation mode where the bits can only be changed from 1 to 0 states. The DS2431 communicates over a single-conductor 1-Wire bus. Communication follows the standard 1-Wire protocol. Each device has an unchangeable and unique 64-bit ROM register number that is laser-etched into the chip at the factory. The registration number is used to address the device in a multidrop, 1-Wire net environment.
