LJ16A3-5-J/EZ 90-250VAC 5mm NO Inductive Distance Sensor

LJ16A3-5-J/EZ 90-250VAC 5mm NO Inductive Distance Sensor. Inductive sensors detect the presence of metal objects approaching them. When they detect the presence of a metal object, they give an output from their signal terminals. This detection process occurs thanks to the magnetic field created around the sensor. In this way, the presence of a metal object entering the area is understood.

Inductive sensors are generally preferred sensors in automation projects, conveyor belt systems, separation processes and various electronic projects. There are many different types of inductive sensors. Important points to consider when choosing among these products are as follows:

  • Is Sensor Output NPN or PNP
  • Sensor Contact NO or NC
  • Diameter of the sensor
  • Sensing distance of the sensor
This information is included in the descriptions of all inductive sensors we have sold. Please review the features section in the description section before purchasing.

What are the Differences between NPN and PNP Sensors

NPN sensors give negative output from their signal terminals, PNP sensors They give positive output.

What are the Differences between NO and NC Contacts?

In NO (normally open) inductive sensors, normally no data comes from the signal end. However, when a metal object approaches, you will receive data output. In NC (normally closed) inductive sensors, data output is always available. When a metal object approaches, the data is interrupted.
