2W UV Lamp, Ultraviolet light, electric current in the lamp passes between the electrodes thanks to the metal vapor. Electrons are emitted when the cathodes (negative electric charge) collide with metal or gas atoms, raising their electrons to a higher energy level. After the reaction and collision are completed, the electrons immediately begin to emit as ultraviolet light energy. The gas and metal vapor in the lamp are also a determining factor in determining the spectrum of ultraviolet light energy. Ultraviolet lamps are manufactured from high quality quartz (high silicon dioxide containing heat resistance) glass. Ultraviolet lamps have a minimum operating capacity of 1000 hours and a maximum of 8000 hours.

It should not be forgotten that the life of the ultraviolet lamp is also directly proportional to the correct use and maintenance period. It should be known that the life of an ultraviolet lamp that is turned on and off very often will quickly end, and it is recommended that it be left on at low power if it is to be used for short periods.
