TD1482A is a monolithic pulse width modulated (PWM) synchronous cascade with two internal power MOSFETs is the step down mode regulator. It achieves 2A continuous output current over a wide input supply range with excellent load and line regulation.

Current mode operation provides fast transient response and facilitates loop stabilization. Fault condition protection includes cycle-to-cycle current limiting and thermal shutdown.
