TM1638 7-Segment Display Module

 

8-digit 7-segment display module (HCMODU0095) allows full control of the display using only 3 digital pins on Arduino and other microprocessors giver  It uses TM6138. In addition to the 7-segment displays, there are 8 3mm LEDs and 8 buttons that can be controlled individually. It is also controlled by TM6138 IC and thus can be controlled without requiring extra digital pins. With standard 5-pin header connections, it provides an easy interface to your microcontroller.

The module has a special library (HCTI6138) for easy use with Arduino. The library will provide full control over the 7-segment display (providing the ability to display alphanumeric text), read the status of 8 LEDs and the keypad. It is also capable of controlling multiple modules from an Arduino.
