The TRC 60/72VDC C020 Resettable PPTC PTC Fuse is a high-polymer, positive temperature coefficient thermistor. Compared to ceramic PTC thermistors, it is suitable for high-current overcurrent and overload protection circuits. When used, a PPTC auto-recovery fuse with an appropriate nominal current is selected for series connection in the circuit to be protected. When the line fault occurs and the current increases significantly, the PPTC switches from low resistance to high resistance due to its own heating, reducing the current in the circuit and protecting the circuit. When the fault is corrected, the PPTC's temperature drops, returns to its initial resistance, and the line returns to normal operation.
