BM3 PM2.5 TVOC CO2 HCHO AQI Air Quality Monitor

With the BM3 PM2.5 TVOC CO2 HCHO AQI Air Quality Monitor, you can observe the humidity, temperature, carbon dioxide, TVOC, and HCHO levels in the air via the display. It can be charged with a Type-C cable. The cable is included in the product contents. An intelligent alarm system based on air quality is also available.

Software Files

To operate the product, you need to press and hold the middle button. You can release the button when the data appears on the screen.

WiFi Configuration

Settings Interface

Device calibration instructions: It is recommended not to calibrate new devices. If you notice a change in formaldehyde and TVOC data after six months of use, you can select the calibration function from the settings. Calibration should be performed in an open environment with good air quality.

  1. During first use, the formaldehyde sensor may be poisoned due to excessive formaldehyde levels in the enclosed space during transport. Therefore, the formaldehyde value may be significantly high or remain at zero after being removed from its packaging. In this case, allow the device to rest for at least 12 hours before continuing with the tests; the formaldehyde sensor will gradually return to normal operation. (Please note that formaldehyde calibration is not required.) Relative cross-interference characteristics of formaldehyde: CO 1%, H2S no data, H2 0.1%, SO2 12%, NO2 no data, NO no data, C2H4 1%, C2H4 no data, NH3 0%, CO2 0%, methanol/ethanol 50%, phenols 7%, water vapor 0%. When detecting formaldehyde, keep away from volatile substances such as alcohol, vinegar, perfume, and air fresheners to prevent cross-interference. It is recommended to perform the test during daylight hours when no cooking is required. Keep away from silicone vapors, shampoo, etc. Do not blow excessive amounts of contaminants onto the sensor, as this can easily cause electrochemical overload. For stable operation of the device, it must be used in an upright position on a flat surface. Do not obstruct the air inlet/outlet during use to prevent numerical deviations. For formaldehyde testing, doors and windows must be closed at least 12 hours before testing (international requirement). Using multiple test points and averaging the results will provide more accurate values. Dust storms and other weather conditions besides smoke, such as sand and gravel, can affect laser detectors, causing PM values ​​to decrease. Do not use the product for extended periods in extreme environments such as cold, hot, dusty, humid, or dry conditions.
