The DC 12V 60W TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Peltier Cooling System is a compact air cooling kit that operates on the Peltier principle, creating a temperature difference between two surfaces using electrical energy. The system integrates a TEC1-12706 thermoelectric module with a hot-side heatsink and fan assembly, as well as a cold-side heatsink/fan structure.

When DC voltage is applied to the Peltier element, one surface of the module cools down while the other heats up. Therefore, the heat generated on the hot side must be continuously dissipated using a robust heatsink and fan. Inadequate cooling on the hot side can significantly reduce the Peltier element's performance and damage the module due to excessive heat.
