TEC1-7108 8.5V 8A 30x30mm Peltier

TEC1-7108 is 30x30mm Thermoelectric Cooler 8A Peltier Module.

Thermoelectric coolers are also known as TEC or Peltier Module creating a temperature difference on both sides. One side gets hot, the other side gets cold. Therefore, they can be used to heat something or cool something, depending on the side you use. You can also take advantage of the temperature difference to generate electricity.

This Peltier works very well as long as you remove the heat from the hot side. After turning on the device, the hot side heats up quickly, the cold side cools down quickly. If you don't remove the heat from the hot side (with a heatsink or other device), the Peltier will quickly reach stasis and do nothing. We recommend using an old computer CPU heat sink or other metal block to draw heat from the hot side.
