EKX4S-M Infrared Remote Control Module Micro USB - Silver, This product works as follows: A compatible smartphone app (Ocrustar) is required for the Smart IR Blaster to operate. The app contains a large database of infrared codes. Through pairing, it finds the appropriate infrared code that will allow the phone to control infrared devices. The infrared code must be broadcast by the IR Blaster.
NOTE: Phones with built-in infrared functionality can use the app directly without any additional hardware; this module is not required.
NOTE: This module does not provide 100% control of all smart devices. Device control is available depending on compatibility.
It is generally used to control devices controlled by infrared remote control, such as TVs, air conditioners, fans, satellite receivers, air purifiers, electric heaters, DVDs, projectors, smart bulbs, amplifiers, etc., via a mobile phone app.
