MAX202CD SOIC-16 SMD RS Serial Protocol IC

The MAX202CD is a 5V dual RS-232 Line Driver/Receiver, consisting of two line drivers, two line receivers, and a dual charge pump circuit with ±15kV pin-to-pin ESD protection (serial port connection pins including GND ). The device meets TIA/EIA-232-F requirements and provides an electrical interface between an asynchronous communications controller and a serial port connector. The charge pump and four small external capacitors allow operation from a single 5V supply. The MAX202CD operates at data signaling rates up to 120 kbps and a maximum driver output slew rate of 30V/µs.
