NeoPixel 7′ Circle
The NeoPixel Ring features seven small 5050 (5mm x 5mm) smart RGB LEDs on a round PCB with mounting holes. You only need to use one microcontroller pin to control as many as you can chain together!
Each LED is addressable because the driver chip is inside the LED. Each has a ~18mA constant current driver, so the color is very consistent even if the voltage changes and no external shock resistor is required making the design slim. You can run everything on 5VDC (4-7V works).
Individually addressable RGB LEDs ship as a single NeoPixel Ring assembled and tested.
