The PN532 13.56MHz RFID NFC Kit, PN532, is an RFID module used for contactless communication where read and write functions from RFID devices are required. It operates at a frequency of 13.56 MHz. The interesting aspect of this RFID module is its microcontroller functionality based on the 80C51 core with 40 KB ROM and 1 KB RAM.

PN532 operates with the concept of modulation and demodulation and supports I2C and UART communication. It supports 3.3V to 24V TTL as it has a built-in level shifter. It has an internal PCB antenna and can also communicate with other NFC devices such as smartphones and NFC-based tags.
