The Raspberry Pi 5 3.5-inch 320x480 Display and Case is an enclosure featuring a resistive touchscreen with a 320×480 pixel resolution and an SPI interface; it connects directly to the Raspberry Pi via the GPIO header.

It utilizes the ILI9486 LCD driver IC for the display and the widely used XPT2046 resistive touch controller for the touch panel. Consequently, both display output and touch control are handled via the Raspberry Pi's GPIO/SPI interface.

It also does not require an HDMI video cable.
