TTP223 Capacitive Touch Sensor Module
TTP223 Capacitive Touch Sensor Module
The TTP223 Capacitive Touch Sensor Module is a compact electronic switch module designed to add touch control functionality, replacing traditional mechanical push-buttons. Utilizing capacitive sensing technology, the user can control the digital output by touching the sensor area directly on the PCB or by touching through a suitable insulating surface.
Featuring a touch-sensitive area of approximately 14 x 14 mm, the module can detect touch through non-metallic surfaces—such as thin wood, plastic, or acrylic—without requiring direct contact, provided mounting conditions are suitable. It offers a sensing range of approximately 6 mm.
A key feature of the TTP223 is the ability to modify its output behavior. By default, there are no components installed at the configuration points marked 'A' and 'T' on the PCB.
By properly configuring these pads, the module's output behavior—such as momentary vs. toggle and active-HIGH vs. active-LOW—can be modified.Specifications
