The TTP224 4-Channel Digital Touch Sensor Module detects the change in capacitance when a capacitive load, such as a human hand, is brought close to the sensing surface and activates the switch. Thanks to their specialized sensing surfaces, these sensors can detect touch through thin layers of non-conductive materials such as glass, plastic, fabric, or even wood. Each touch surface has its own output pin, and when the user touches a surface, the corresponding output pin goes high. As a switch, it is very easy to interface with microcontrollers like Arduino to control different applications. It can be used in home automation, motor control, relay control, and more. The module essentially eliminates push-button issues.
