XH-A156 PAM8403 4x3W 4-Channel Class-D Amplifier Module
The XH-A156 PAM8403 4x3W 4-Channel Class-D Amplifier Module is a PAM8403-based, 4-channel Class-D digital audio amplifier module designed to drive four separate speakers within a compact form factor. The board features two stereo PAM8403 amplifier ICs, providing a total of four independent audio outputs. Each channel is capable of delivering up to 3W of output power under optimal operating conditions.
The module operates on 5V DC and is particularly well-suited for low-voltage, portable, or USB-powered audio systems. Thanks to its Class-D amplifier architecture, it offers higher efficiency compared to traditional Class-AB amplifiers. The PAM8403 chip achieves efficiency levels of up to 90%, and its design—which eliminates the need for an external output filter—provides a distinct advantage for compact audio projects.
A key feature of the XH-A156 is its dual stereo audio input capability. Two separate stereo sources can be connected to the two L/R/GND input sets on the board. This configuration allows two different audio sources to be played through two separate pairs of speakers.
Depending on the switch setting, a single stereo input signal can be routed to all four output channels.Specifications
