78L15 Voltage Regulator - TO92

LM78L15 is a positive constant voltage regulator IC in a TO-92 case. It is an IC of the LM78Lxx series, which includes many other constant voltage regulator ICs such as 5V, 6V, 8V, 9V, 10V, 12V, 15V,18V and 24V. The IC is the same as its larger version LM7815 but the only difference is the different package and also the output current. The LM7812 can provide up to 1000mA of output current, while the LM78L15 can provide 100mA at the output. Therefore, if you need a low current version of LM7815, you can use this IC without any trouble.
