8X8 Dotmatrix Module - MAX7219

Mini 8×8 Dot Matrix LED Display Module MAX7219 is based on the compact MAX7219 chip, serial input common connecting microcontrollers to LED matrices cathode is the driver. All common microcontrollers can be connected to this module using a 4-wire serial interface. Each output can be addressed without refreshing the entire screen. This module requires only 3 I/O lines to drive the display and is ideal for your microcontroller projects.

 

You can easily connect it to your Arduino or any other microcontroller. Used in applications such as Scroll screens, Animation screens, Text, Thumbnails and other sequential applications.
