MCP1416T-E/OT is a small footprint, low-side MOSFET driver capable of delivering 1.5A peak output current. This is a non-inverting low side driver, meaning that when the input signal is high, the output signal is also high. Even though the name of the device is MOSFET driver, these devices have other applications besides driving the gate of MOSFET. This device is also used to direct a small DC motor, acts as a buffer for high-speed data lines, and acts as level converters to interface from low voltage to high voltage.
