PL2303 TA USB-TTL Serial Converter Cable

 

Easiest way to program your microcontroller/Raspberry Pi/WiFi router serial console port or VEX Victor BB speed controller .

The power pin provides 5V, 500mA directly from the USB port and the RX/TX pins are at 3.3V for interfacing with most common 3.3V logic level chipsets.

Due to the reserved pins, this cable is ideal for powering and connecting to the debug/login console on a Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black. Connect the pins and establish the RX/TX connection to power the Pi or BBB.

Also to install alternative operating systems on WiFi routers or almost any other 3.3V Useful for using logical serial port. In many cases it is easier to use than the FTDI cable because the cables are separated.
