TC4420 DIP-8 Mosfet Driver IC

TC4420CPA ​​is a single-output, non-inverting high-speed MOSFET Driver for class D switching amplifiers. This drive is built in CMOS for lower power, more efficient operation compared to bipolar drives. Both devices feature TTL compatible inputs that can drive VDD as high as +0.3V or as low as -5V without damaging the device. This eliminates the need for external level shifting circuitry and the cost and size associated with it. The output swing is rail-to-rail providing better drive voltage margin, especially during the power on/off sequence. Propagation latency is only 55ns (typical) and output rise and fall times are only 25ns (typical) to 2500pF over the usable power supply range. Unlike other drives, the TC4420 is virtually crash-proof. Replaces three or more individual components, saving PCB space, parts, and improving overall system reliability.
