WCS1700 70A Hall-Effect Linear Current Sensor Module
WCS1700 70A Hall-Effect Linear Current Sensor Module
The WCS1700 70A Hall-Effect Linear Current Sensor Module is a Hall-effect-based current measurement board designed to monitor high-current AC and DC lines and detect instances where a preset current level is exceeded.
The module features the WCS1500 Hall-effect current sensor, along with a comparator circuit and an adjustment potentiometer. This allows not only for analog current measurement but also for generating a digital warning signal if the specified current threshold is surpassed.
The board's analog output produces a voltage proportional to the measured current, which can be read via a microcontroller's ADC input. Meanwhile, the digital output generates a signal when the current exceeds the threshold set by the onboard trimmer potentiometer.
This feature facilitates the implementation of motor stall detection, over-current warning, and short-circuit detection systems.Specifications
