The HLK-LD2410S 24GHz Radar Motion Detection Sensor Module is a human presence detection sensor designed for battery-operated applications, featuring ultra-low power consumption. The system consists of a streamlined 24GHz millimeter-wave sensor hardware unit (LD2410S) combined with intelligent algorithmic software capable of detecting human presence while maintaining low power usage.
The LD2410S hardware incorporates AIoT millimeter-wave sensor technology, a high-performance 24GHz 1T1R (1 transmitter, 1 receiver) antenna, and peripheral circuitry. By leveraging millimeter-wave ranging technology, advanced proprietary radar signal processing methods, and the low-power control capabilities of the ICL1112 chip, the intelligent detection algorithm enables precise sensing of human bodies—whether they are in motion, making subtle movements, or remaining stationary. Designed for indoor environments, this low-power algorithm determines human presence by identifying movement or minor physical shifts, providing real-time updates on detection status.
The HLK-LD2410S can detect a moving person at a maximum distance of 8 meters. The device; It offers various configuration options, such as trigger and hold thresholds, human presence status, the reporting frequency for a detected human body at different distance ranges, and the reporting duration to be applied when no one is present in the environment.
Supporting GPIO and UART interfaces, the HLK-LD2410S features "plug-and-play" functionality, allowing for flexible integration into smart devices and various end-products designed for different scenarios.
