IO57E02 DC 12V 10A Motor Overload, Overcurrent, and Short-Circuit Protector
IO57E02 DC 12V 10A Motor Overload, Overcurrent, and Short-Circuit Protector
The IO57E02 DC 12V 10A Motor Overload, Overcurrent, and Short-Circuit Protector is a motor control and protection module designed for the forward/reverse control of 12V DC motors and for protecting the motor against overcurrent, overload, and short-circuit conditions.
The motor's rotation direction can be changed via the FWD (Forward) and REV (Reverse) control inputs. The board also features a COM terminal (common for control inputs), M+ / M- terminals for motor connections, VCC / GND terminals for power supply, an O.L output to signal overload conditions, a MODE selection for operating modes, and an ADJ connection to set the overcurrent limit.
The module supports two different control modes:
- Non-locking / Momentary: The motor runs only while the control signal is applied.
- Self-locking: The control command is latched, maintaining the operating state.
Important Note: This product is not a PWM speed controller. Its primary function is to drive the motor forward and in reverse, monitor for overcurrent, and protect the motor against overload and short-circuit conditions.
