PICKIT 2 PICKIT 3 Zif Socket Adapter

PIC programmers generally only have an ICSP output socket. Programming requires the creation of actual circuits on a breadboard or various PCBs. Building this circuit is not always easy, and many errors can occur during cable connections. To facilitate this process, this circuit has been developed using a ZIF socket. It has a structure that can be set with jumpers according to different pin counts.

It is very easy to use. A 5-pin ICSP connection is established between the programmer and the ZIF circuit with a cable. There are 3 jumper settings on the ZIF socket circuit. The position of the 3 jumpers according to the number of PIC pins such as 40 pins, 28 pins, 18 pins is written under the socket. For example, for 40 pins, number 1 is installed to correspond to the latch side. J1=A, J2=2-3, J3=2-3 must be in this state.

  The diagrams also show how to attach the number 1s of the PICs.
