WCS1600 100A Hall-Effect Linear Current Sensor Module
WCS1600 100A Hall-Effect Linear Current Sensor Module
The WCS1600 100A Hall-Effect Linear Current Sensor Module is a current measurement board based on Hall-effect technology, designed to monitor high-current AC and DC lines and detect instances where the current exceeds a preset level.
The module features the WCS1500 Hall-effect current sensor, along with a comparator circuit and an adjustment potentiometer. This allows not only for analog current measurement but also for generating a digital warning signal if the current exceeds the defined threshold.
The board's analog output produces a voltage proportional to the measured current, which can be read via a microcontroller's ADC input. The digital output generates a signal when the current exceeds the threshold set by the onboard trimmer potentiometer.
This feature facilitates the implementation of motor stall detection, over-current warning, and short-circuit detection systems.Specifications
