The 23IOE48 48-Channel NPN Multifunctional RS485 PLC I/O Expansion Module (DIN Rail Mount) is a high-capacity RS485 remote I/O module designed to connect a large number of digital inputs and outputs to a central control system in industrial automation and remote I/O applications.

The module features 48 digital inputs (DI) and 48 digital outputs (DO). This allows numerous field devices—such as sensors, push-buttons, limit switches, contactors, relays, solenoids, and similar components—to be connected to PLC, HMI, industrial PC, or microcontroller systems via a single RS485 communication line.
