BF350 High-Precision 350-Ohm Resistive Strain Gauge Pressure Sensor
The BF350 High-Precision 350-Ohm Resistive Strain Gauge Pressure Sensor is a 350Ω metal foil strain gauge designed to convert minute mechanical elongations and compressions occurring on a surface into changes in electrical resistance.
When bonded in the correct orientation to the metal or mechanical surface being measured, the sensor tracks the deformation occurring on that surface. As the material elongates or compresses, the electrical resistance of the thin metal foil grid on the sensor changes. This minute change in resistance can be measured using a suitable Wheatstone bridge and a precision amplifier/ADC circuit.
