The ASW-A701S-B 300A 4-Position OFF-1-BOTH-2 Battery Switch is a high-current capacity battery selector switch that enables the controlled use of two separate batteries or battery banks within a single electrical system. Featuring four operating positions—OFF, 1, BOTH, and 2—the product allows for the selection of Battery 1, Battery 2, or both batteries simultaneously; in the OFF position, the battery connection is completely isolated from the system.

It is specifically designed for use in dual-battery setups for vehicles, boats, caravans, and auxiliary power systems. It enables the engine starting battery and the auxiliary equipment battery to be used separately or together as needed.

The "BOTH" position, where both batteries are used together, connects the batteries to the system in parallel.
