The RT-ZS-N01-2 30dB–130dB Wall-Mounted Sound Sensor (RS485) is a wall-mounted sound level transmitter featuring an RS485 Modbus RTU output; it is designed to continuously measure ambient sound pressure levels and transmit the data to industrial automation and data acquisition systems.

The sensor detects ambient sound using a high-precision condenser microphone and converts the measured noise level into a digital value in dB(A).

A-weighting is applied during measurement to obtain results that more closely match the frequency perception of the human ear.
