The Raspberry Pi RTC Module (Battery Not Included) is a mini Real-Time Clock module designed for the Raspberry Pi, though it can also be used with Arduino. It plugs directly into the Raspberry Pi GPIO interface, requiring no additional wiring.

The board features a battery slot, allowing it to maintain accurate timekeeping even when the main power to the device is disconnected. The RTC tracks seconds, minutes, hours, days, dates, months, and years. It automatically adjusts for months with fewer than 31 days and accounts for leap years. The clock can operate in either 24-hour or 12-hour format (with an AM/PM indicator).
