The RM520N-GL 5G Dongle (B) Expansion Board is an external modem solution designed to provide high-speed 5G/4G mobile internet connectivity to USB-enabled systems such as computers, Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, and similar devices.

It comes equipped with the Quectel RM520N-GL 5G modem module. The RM520N-GL is a global Sub-6GHz modem based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X62 platform, supporting 3GPP Release 16 as well as 5G NR SA and NSA modes. Quectel defines the RM520N series as a family of M.2-format IoT/eMBB modems designed for worldwide 5G/LTE-A coverage.

It features an M.2 Key-B modem slot and supports compatible 4G/5G modems in 3042/3052 form factors. In SKU 30237, the RM520N-GL module is included in this slot.

The physical dimensions of the RM520N-GL are approximately 30 × 52 × 2.3mm, meaning it follows the M.2 3052 form factor.
